Privacy Policy
Effective Date: October 22, 2026
Way Robots LLC, doing business as Way Robots (“Way Robots,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you visit www.wayrobots.com (the “Site”), contact us, request a quote, buy products or services from us, or otherwise interact with us (together, the “Services”). By using the Services, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
a. Information you provide to us
- Contact and inquiry information: first and last name, email address, phone number, company name, and the intended applications or other details you share through our contact form.
- Quote, order, and account information: billing and shipping addresses, job title, purchase history, site or facility details relevant to an installation, and service requests. Payment card information is collected and processed directly by our third-party payment processors; we do not store full card numbers.
- Communications: the content of emails, calls, chats, surveys, and other messages you send us, and your marketing preferences.
- Event and training information: details you provide when you register for a demonstration, webinar, trade show meeting, or training session.
b. Information collected automatically
- Device and usage information: IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, referring URLs, pages viewed, links clicked, and the dates and times of your visits.
- Approximate location: general location (such as city or region) inferred from your IP address.
- Cookies and similar technologies: see Section 5 below.
c. Information from other sources
- Robot manufacturers, distributors, and channel partners (for example, when a manufacturer refers a sales lead or warranty request to us).
- Publicly available business sources, trade show organizers, and professional networking platforms.
- Service providers that help us verify or enrich business contact information.
d. Robot and device data
Many robots we sell or service—particularly connected consumer robots and autonomous mobile robots—collect operational data such as maps of a home or facility, camera or sensor images, usage logs, and error reports. In most cases this data is collected and controlled by the robot’s manufacturer through its own app or cloud platform and is governed by the manufacturer’s privacy policy, not this one. Where Way Robots accesses such data to install, configure, troubleshoot, or maintain a robot for you, we use it only to provide that service, as further described in your service agreement.
2. How We Use Personal Information
- To respond to inquiries, prepare quotes, and recommend robotics solutions.
- To process and fulfill orders, deliver and install products, and provide training, maintenance, repair, and warranty support.
- To communicate with you about your orders, service appointments, and account.
- To send newsletters, product updates, and promotional messages where you have opted in or where otherwise permitted by law.
- To operate, secure, analyze, and improve the Site and our Services, including detecting and preventing fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
- To comply with legal obligations, including tax, accounting, export-control, and product-safety requirements, and to enforce our agreements and protect our rights.
- For any other purpose disclosed to you at the time we collect the information or with your consent.
3. How We Disclose Personal Information
We disclose personal information only as described below:
- Service providers that perform services on our behalf, such as website hosting, email delivery, customer relationship management, analytics, payment processing, shipping, and IT support. They may use the information only to provide services to us.
- Manufacturers and channel partners when needed to fulfill an order, register a product, process a warranty claim, or arrange factory support.
- Professional advisers such as lawyers, accountants, insurers, and auditors.
- Legal and safety purposes: to comply with law, regulation, subpoena, or court order; to respond to lawful requests from public authorities; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Way Robots, our customers, or others.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of all or part of our business, subject to customary confidentiality protections.
- With your consent or at your direction.
We do not sell personal information for money. We do not “sell” or “share” personal information as those terms are defined under California law, including for cross-context behavioral advertising. [NOTE TO OWNER: If the Site uses advertising pixels such as Meta Pixel, Google Ads remarketing, or LinkedIn Insight Tag, this sentence must be revised and a “Your Privacy Choices / Do Not Sell or Share” link added to the footer. Confirm with counsel.]
4. Marketing Communications
You may opt out of marketing emails at any time by clicking “unsubscribe” in any such email or by contacting us at info@wayrobots.com. If you opt out, we may still send you transactional or service-related messages, such as order confirmations and service-appointment reminders. We will send marketing text messages only with your prior express consent, and you may reply STOP to opt out at any time.
5. Cookies, Analytics, and Similar Technologies
We and our service providers use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to keep the Site working, remember your preferences, understand how visitors use the Site, and improve our content. These include:
- Strictly necessary cookies that enable core functions such as security and form submission.
- Analytics cookies (for example, Google Analytics) that help us understand traffic and usage patterns. You can learn about Google’s practices and opt out at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
- Preference cookies that remember choices you make on the Site.
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how the Site works. Where required by law, we honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals as a valid request to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information for that browser. Because there is no common industry standard for “Do Not Track” signals, we do not respond to them.
6. Data Retention
We keep personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to provide the Services, maintain service and warranty records for the life of the equipment, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it.
7. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against loss, theft, and unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding your personal information, subject to legal exceptions:
- Access / Know: to confirm whether we process your personal information and to obtain a copy of it.
- Correction: to correct inaccurate personal information.
- Deletion: to request that we delete personal information we hold about you.
- Portability: to receive your information in a portable, readily usable format.
- Opt-out: to opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal information, and profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
- Non-discrimination: to exercise these rights without receiving discriminatory treatment.
To exercise any of these rights, email info@wayrobots.com or call (855) 929-7626. We will verify your request by matching information you provide with information we hold. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf; we may require proof of the agent’s authority and verification of your identity. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision with the subject line “Privacy Appeal,” and we will respond within the time required by applicable law.

We do not collect or use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you. California residents may also request information about disclosures of personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes; we do not make such disclosures.
9. Children’s Privacy
The Site is intended for adults and business customers and is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where applicable law sets a higher age).
